In Freddie Mac’s results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey, average fixed mortgage rates moving slightly higher for the week but still remained near historic lows. The average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage has remained below 4 percent for over a year providing support to the ongoing housing recovery.

In Freddie Mac’s results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey, the average fixed mortgage rates have changed little over the past four weeks which is helping to spur new home construction. After being flat for three straight weeks, the 30-year fixed edged up to 3.56 percent, while the 15-year fixed remained unchanged at 2.77 percent.
