Saints Extended Qualifying Offers to 13 Players

SAINTS TENDER QUALIFYING OFFERS TO 13 RESTRICTED FREE AGENTS New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Thursday that the club has tendered qualifying offers to 13 players slated to become restricted free agents at the start of the new league year next week. Terms of the offers were not disclosed. Defensive linemen Remi Ayodele and Anthony Hargrove , offensive tackles Jammal Brown , Jermon Bushrod and Zach Strief , safeties Roman Harper , Chris Reis and Usama Young , linebacker Marvin Mitchell , wide receivers Lance Moore and Courtney Roby , tight end David Thomas and running back Pierre Thomas are the 13 players who have received offers from the team.

New Orleans Saints Afternoon Minicamp Practice Report

The Saints held their second mini-camp practice this afternoon beginning at 3:00 p.m. The practice was open to the public and very well attended, with 2,268 spectators coming through the gate. The team will practice again (weather permitting on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.-gates open an hour early and fans attending are once again encouraged to bring a canned food item for the Second Harvest Food Bank.
